"For those of us who shudder at the thought of wearing white at our weddings, or maybe you just think a little outside the box... this book is for you. Definitely more of an idea generator than an actual planner, it nonetheless does a very fine job of doing exactly what it's titled: A Guide for the Anti-Bride. Divided into chapters that are separated by tabbed pages with a small pocket for loose notes, the information is collated in a very organized fashion. The language is friendly, never high-handed (Emily Post, anyone?), and it certainly made me feel much better about deciding to have an actual wedding my way without the tradition police descending down upon my ceremony and reception. A great investment, especially paired with one of the larger "binder-style" wedding planners that tend to follow the more traditional route."
