We've found that these books from Amazon.com are useful to not only for the bridal couple, but also to others typically involved in a wedding.
We also found quite them to be great gifts to give to the bride and groom's attendants, as well as to the bridal couple's respective parents.
by Marsha Heckman, Richard Jung (Photographer) (Hardcover - February 2000)
Helpful for those who know nothing about flowers, January 3, 2002 Reviewer: A reader from San Francisco, CA United States. "When I looked at bouquets in wedding magazines, I always found them to be too gaudy or contemporary for my taste so by the time I walked into the florist to plan my wedding, I had no clue what to tell him. I found this book and it was so helpful! It clued me in on what flowers would be best for an off-season wedding. Each bouquet was clearly photographed and then the "recipes" indicated which flowers were being used. I highly recommend this book to people who, although have no intention on making their own bouquets, would still like to have sufficient knowledge to have a beautiful and unique bridal bouquet."

There is very little information available regarding how to make your own wedding flowers, so the staff at The Wedding Place was very excited when we found this book.
Not only does is it have easy to follow step-by-step instructions on creating bouquets, it also covers floral headpieces and centerpieces as well. We felt this book was certainly worth the money if you're interested in creating your own flowers for your wedding.

This book has a focus on all kinds of decorations, including flowers--but mostly the silk kind, rather than the fresh kind.
It does add suggestions and information for other kinds of decorations as well, which we found quite useful.
