We gave found that these books from Amazon.com are useful to not only the bridal couple, but also to others typically involved in a wedding.
We also found quite a few to be great gifts to give to the bride and groom's attendants, as well as to the bridal couple's respective parents.
by Paulette Cooper, Paul Noble (Paperback - May 2002)
This book covers more than 135 destination resorts and cruise ships in the Caribbean, Hawaii, Mexico, and the United Sates, with comprehensive information on what they offer and what their requirements are. Included is information on which resorts and cruise ships will actually marry you for free if you stay there! While this information is certainly available elsewhere, the author will save anyone interested in this subject matter a great deal of time. We would like to see a similar book on European destinations as well!

We found our adventure honeymoon!June 6, 2003 Reviewer: A reader from Stamford, CT We couldn't find anything really adventurous that we wanted to do on our honeymoon -- we'd read about scuba diving, snorkeling, parasailing in travel articles, but we didn't find THE destination for us until we read through this book and found four or five great islands that were perfect. Even better, this book has a giant contact sheet, so it took us no time at all to get to the islands' Web sites and request info. So we're off to the Seychelles next summer for our honeymoon! We can always go to Belize or to Thailand on another vacation. This is a great book for anyone who wants to do something really original on their honeymoon...and then keep these suggestions around for future travel plans. This is one wedding book I'm not handing off to my other engaged friends! I'm keeping this one!

by Geri Bain
The author is a travel editor for Modern Bride. She has created a step-by-step planning guide for a honeymoon. Covered in the book is selecting a destination, choosing travel agents and transportation, packing, and how to evaluate travel packages. She mentions popular honeymoon destinations such as Hawaii, the Caribbean, Mexico, and Florida. What we found most helpful in this book, however, were the premade forms of checklists, worksheets, budgets that could be copied and filled out. We feel that's an essential for any couple under the stress of arranging a wedding and honeymoon!
