We have found that these books from Amazon.com are useful to not only the bridal couple, but also to others typically involved in a wedding.
The books on this page in particular are great and often much-needed gifts to give to the bride and groom's
attendants, as well as to the bridal couple's respective parents.
This book is a personal favorite; after reviewing the title, we contacted the author at his website and have
established what we think is a rewarding relationship, but we must confess that as a result, we are probably somewhat biased.
Peter van Dijk has outlined the changes in modern weddings, with a special emphasis on the role grooms must
now play. The book is packed with much practical information, but told with a wonderful sense of humor that makes this book delightful reading and
a great gift.

We have to confess that we love this book! The book covered the full range of characters anyone can run into in a wedding, and
spared no one--not only the brides themselves, but grooms who couldn't behave, and manipulative mothers. What made particularly hilarious for
us is that in our experiences with weddings, we've actually met people like this! It will really help you to a laugh at a time that you'll need
it!
This is a really comprehensive book about married life, beginning from just after the wedding, and addresses your future lives
together. There are a lot of comments from older women regarding their experiences. We found it to be very reassuring to those in their first
year of marriage.
If you have every participated in a wedding in any way, you will be able to identify with this book! The author has a unique slant
on everything, and it's even a useful guide to what to say in difficult situations. Of course, we don't know how much of a sense of humor the
listener will have, but it's worth the reading.

This is definitely a fun book to read, complete with unique illustrations. In addition, there really is good information
regarding avoiding pitfalls in the inevitable choices to be made, especially in the area of selecting the bridesmaid's dresses--always a
thorny issue.
This book covers all aspects of the bridesmaid's duties in a wedding from the engagement to the actual event, but in such a manner
that it will have you laughing all the way up the aisle. Sound advice on all aspects of the bridesmaid's role in a wedding.
Now here's a book that will finally answer the chronic question: What on earth do I do with this thing after the wedding?
For instance, have you thought of a taffeta hammock or a beekeeper's outfit? It will definitely cheer up the bridesmaid who has to wear "that horror" up
the aisle!
This gift was the most popular that I gave my bridesmaids. From the start of
my wedding planning, I knew that they would never wear the dresses again. So, I picked the most affordable dress that I liked and admitted right up
front that I knew that they would never wear it again. (Coming from someone with about 5 bridesmaids dresses hidden in my parent's home.) At the
rehearsal dinner, I gave the girls this book along with jewelry to wear at the wedding. They loved the book! The girls kept laughing and pointing out
some of the unusual places that the author wore the dress. It certainly helped everyone put a smile on their face and relax before the wedding.
